The Tuscora Park Boardwalk Project

On June 28, 2017, Rotary Club President Travis Alberts cut the ribbon and officially opened the Tuscora Park Boardwalk. The Boardwalk is a great addition to Tuscora Park and provides visitors with a beautiful panorama of the Pond and the beauty of Park itself. The Boardwalk is 140 feet in length and extends over the shoreline to provide an uninterrupted view of the water. At one end is a 34 foot gazebo complete with a copper weather vane atop the cupola. Benches, gliders, and bistro tables with umbrellas provide plenty of seating out on the deck or under the cover of the gazebo. The Boardwalk is handicap accessible.

Fundraising has been coordinated by the Rotary Club of New Philadelphia through its non-profit arm, RTY, Inc. Donations are still welcomed to help acquire the balance of the money needed to complete the project's financing. Donations to the Boardwalk Project may be sent to RTY, Inc., 161 Tuscora Ave. NW, New Philadelphia. For more information e-mail: information@newphiladelphiarotary.com
