The annual Rotary Spring Healthcheck is coming up on Saturday, March 21. The Healthcheck offers a comprehensive blood screening to measure a wide range of health indicators. Appointments are available between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. Rotary's clinical partner for the Healthcheck is Springvale Health Centers.
NEW LOCATION FOR 2026
The event will take place at the Springvale Health Center at 335 Oxford St. in Dover. This is a NEW location for 2026. Turn on Oxford St. at the traffic light on South Wooster Ave. beside CVS Pharmacy. The SpringVale building is on the left. Park at either end of the building and enter at the front center of the building where you see the HealthCheck sign.
THE BLOOD PROFILE INCLUDES:
- Cholesterol Lipid Panel for HDL, LDL, and triglycerides
- Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP) for kidney and liver function and blood glucose
- Complete Blood Count (CBC) tests for anemia, infection and immunity
- TSH to measure thyroid function.
- The cost of this comprehensive screening is $55.
OPTIONAL SCREENING TESTS
- PSA screen for prostate cancer for men age 50 and over - $15 additional
- A1C test to measure long-term management of blood sugar levels - $15 additional
- ColoFit Colon Cancer take-home screening kit - $25 additional
NEWLY ADDED OPTIONAL SCREENING TESTS
- Vitamin D, 25-Hydroxyl - $25 additional
- Vitamin B12 + Folate - $25 additional
- Thyroid Panel - $25 additional

A printed lab report will be sent to the home of each Healthcheck participant within two weeks of the Healthcheck event.
Proceeds from the Healthcheck are used by the New Philadelphia Rotary Club for its many community service activities.
