Jump Aboard the Carousel Restoration Bandwagon

If you've ever been to Tuscora Park in New Philadelphia you've certainly heard the Wurlitzer Band Organ at the Carousel. The Rotary Club of New Philadelphia and its non-profit RTY, Inc. provided a complete restoration of the antique band organ in 2019. Charles Kegg of the Kegg Organ Company in Hartville, OH did the work. Here is a short video of Mr. Kegg describing the restoration process: View Video Here

The next major Carousel project will be restoration of the 36 jumping horses. They were last repaired and repainted in 1989. Some of the horses have loose necks, legs or tails and most are in need of repairs to the paint, reins, and decorations. Your tax-deductible gift, payable to the RTY Carousel Horse Restoration, may be sent to RTY at the Park Office, 161 Tuscora Avenue, New Philadelphia, OH 44663
